Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Find an AA Meeting

A quick and easy way to find an AA meeting in your neighborhood, your city, your region or if you are traveling to a part of the world in which you have never been. AA meetings are international.
Narcotics Anonymous

Membership in NA is open to all drug addicts, regardless of the particular drug or combination of drugs used. When adapting AA’s First Step, “addiction” was substituted for “alcohol” thus removing drug-specific language and reflecting the “disease concept” of addiction. There are no social, religious, economic, racial, national, gender or class-status membership restrictions. There are no dues or fees for membership; while most members contribute small sums to help cover the expenses of meetings, such contributions are not mandatory.

Alanon/Alateen

For over 55 years, Alanon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. It is estimated that every alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people...alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Alanon/Alateen fellowship.
Nar-Anon

The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction. As a Twelve-Step Program, we offer our help by sharing our experience, strength and hope. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of addiction in a relative or friend.
